USS Razorback

The USS Razorback is a World War II submarine that was purchased by the City of North Little Rock in their bid to conquer all of Arkansas. Now the state must bow to NLR's superior firepower!

Okay, sadly they are not going to use it for conquest. But fortunately for us, they have put the sub on display, and it is now open for tours. This is definitely a good thing.

The sub is in excellent condition, since the Turkish navy was using it until very recently. It is one of the most complete WWII subs in existence. And it is well worth the trip.

The tour currently takes you through the torpedo rooms, engine rooms, galley, control room—almost the entire sub (minus the conning tower and SONAR room and probably a couple of other places).
