Who Am I?

Don't draw any conclusions from the fact that I have spent my evenings building this website. I am not some pimply-faced geek living in his mother's basement. That was years ago.

The fact is, this site was built by snatching fleeting moments from my otherwise active lifestyle to apply my expertise and intellect to this project for the benefit of my readers. Sometimes I would type out a few paragraphs while waiting for the gang to arrive, or sometimes I would pause at my computer while still wearing my sweats, place my water bottle next to the mouse, and type a line on my way to the shower after a hard workout.

Okay, actually, none of that is true.

But I did used to pastor a church, and so it is only recently that I have been able to devote any time to this project. It is not quite as worthwhile, but I am still waiting to see what God has in store for me next.

I spend my days at the computer writing software for FamilyLife. I write mostly Visual Basic with a smattering of SQL.

I also like to spend time studying theology. I grew up attending North Jacksonville Missionary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas, where my father is the pastor. I love to study the Bible more than anything, and I hope one day to be an expert on it.

I am married, and we have no children.
